 | Intelligent Car Key | RECOGNIZE THE DRIVER'S IDENTITY BASED ON THE LEARNING OF STEERING BEHAVIORS | |
|---|
In this project, we have developed car security system based on the driver’s behaviors. The authorized drivers’ behaviors are learned and classified by the vehicle. Hence, the system has the ability to on-line monitor and judge whether the current driver is one of the authorized drivers or not. If there is offense to this, the vehicle will intelligently refuse to function. The driving patterns are embedded into an electronic carkey so that vehicle could be more secure.
In the project, we have addressed the following issues:
1) To capture the characteristics of human driving behaviors for identification of drivers;
2) To measure the similarity between the driving behaviors of different human drivers;
3) To store the driving skill patterns into the intelligent car electronically;
4) To prevent collision accidents from happening based on the models of human driving behaviors;
5) To develop simulation and practical systems that utilize human driving models for security and safety.
